Directs legislative management to study laws governing the North Dakota game and fish department and the possibility of implementing an appointed game and fish commission during the 2023-24 interim.

Study must compare North Dakota's fish and wildlife laws with other states' laws and examine how other states appoint and structure their fish and wildlife commissions.

Study must review the duties, responsibilities, and operations of commissions in other states, identify potential conflicts with current North Dakota law, and assess the feasibility and desirability of creating an appointed North Dakota game and fish commission.

Legislative management shall report findings, recommendations, and any necessary implementing legislation to the sixty-ninth legislative assembly.
