Amends North Dakota Century Code section 20.1-13-06 to revise exemptions from motorboat numbering requirements.

Motorboats with valid federal or federally approved numbering from another state are exempt if they have not been in North Dakota for more than 90 consecutive days.

Foreign motorboats temporarily using North Dakota waters, motorboats owned by the United States or state governments, and ship's lifeboats remain exempt from numbering.

Removes the exemption provision allowing the department to exempt classes of motorboats from numbering based on identification concerns or federal exemptions.

Passed with bipartisan support: 46-0 in the Senate and 93-0 in the House.
