Evaluate statewide challenges and barriers to expanding the state's inventory of accessible housing

Assess the need for and availability of accessible housing for individuals with mobility impairments or physical disabilities, and evaluate effective long-term home modifications that could support and increase accessible homes

Legislative Management must report findings, recommendations, and any required implementing legislation to the Sixty-ninth Legislative Assembly

Addresses the gap that less than 5 percent of homes have features needed to accommodate individuals with moderate mobility difficulties, with an even smaller percentage meeting wheelchair accessibility requirements
