Amends Section 1-01-49 to consolidate and renumber general definitions in the North Dakota Century Code, adding previously scattered definitions (children, coal, compound interest, corporate surety, decree, partnership, real property, sex, United States, verdict, verified, will) into a single alphabetized section

Corrects improper statutory cross-references in multiple sections, including fixing citations to chapter 12.1-31.2 (domestic violence orders), chapter 23.1-12 (petroleum tank release compensation fund), and section 27-20.3-26 (permanency hearings)

Updates terminology throughout the code, including changing "midwest independent system operator" to "midcontinent independent system operator" and replacing "person" with "individual" where appropriate

Repeals 14 obsolete code sections (1-01-18, 1-01-20, 1-01-21, 1-01-27, 1-01-29, 1-01-30, 1-01-36, 1-01-40, 1-01-41, 1-01-42, 1-01-45, 1-01-46, 1-01-47, and 1-01-51) containing redundant definitions now consolidated elsewhere

Removes obsolete tax provisions including the income tax reduction for interest from bonds under repealed chapter 11-37, effective for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2024
