Amends the definition of "farmed elk" in North Dakota Century Code section 36-25-01 to update the scientific classification from "elk family (cervus elaphus), except red deer" to "North American elk genus and species (cervus canadensis)"

Farmed elk must be confined in manmade enclosures designed to prevent escape and raised for fiber, meat, animal byproducts, breeding, exhibition, harvest, or any other purpose

Requested by the Agriculture Commissioner and introduced through the Agriculture Committee
