Expands equipment exemptions from bumper, tire, and fender requirements to include "collector" and "special interest" motor vehicles in addition to street rods

Changes vehicle age qualification from "manufactured before 1949" to "at least forty years old," creating a rolling eligibility threshold

Requires qualifying vehicles to retain general appearance and original body configuration as manufactured, or be replicas designed to resemble such vehicles

Permits modifications to body, chassis, engine, brakes, power train, steering, and suspension systems using fabricated parts or parts from other vehicles

Passed unanimously in both chambers (House: 92-0, Senate: 47-0) during the 69th Legislative Assembly session beginning January 2025
