Political communications containing AI-generated content that visually or audibly impersonates a human must prominently display the disclaimer: "THIS CONTENT GENERATED BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE."

Applies to advertising supporting or opposing candidates, political committees, political parties, and initiated or referred measures and petitions.

Exempts content using AI solely for text generation, grammar correction, spelling checks, stylistic editing, or enhancing existing content without creating new human impersonation.

Defines "artificial intelligence" as machine-based systems capable of creating digital content based on human-defined objectives or data patterns, excluding basic grammar and spelling tools.
