Task force duties include identifying jurisdictional barriers between federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement; determining causes of missing and murdered indigenous people cases; and improving interagency communication and collaboration

Appropriates $250,000 from the general fund to establish a missing indigenous people grant fund to support federally recognized tribes in identifying, reporting, and finding missing indigenous people for the 2025-2027 biennium

Requires the attorney general to implement a missing person repository that includes demographic data on indigenous people, with information shareable between authorized users and federally recognized tribes

Task force must submit annual reports to legislative management by August 1 each year with data on missing indigenous individuals, recoveries, and characteristics; provisions expire July 31, 2035
