Reduces the minimum perpetual care fund contribution for cemetery interment spaces from 20% to 10% of the gross selling price across all categories (adult spaces, children's spaces, mausoleum crypts, columbarium niches, and crypt gardens)

Maintains existing minimum dollar amounts: $20 per adult space, $5-$10 per child space depending on size, $100 per mausoleum crypt or above-ground interment space, and $10 per columbarium niche

Reduces the perpetual care fund threshold for mausoleums and columbariums from 20% to 10% of cemetery lot sale proceeds and construction costs

Passed the House 92-0 and the Senate 39-7 during the 69th Legislative Assembly session beginning January 7, 2025
