Amends North Dakota Century Code section 15.1-19-09 governing K-12 student suspension and expulsion procedures

Removes the restriction that expulsions for insubordination, habitual indolence, or disorderly conduct cannot extend beyond the current school year, now allowing expulsions up to 12 months for these offenses

Requires school districts to consider severity of infraction, student's age, and disciplinary history when determining expulsion duration

Allows school districts to review and reduce expulsion duration if students satisfy reinstatement conditions established by the district

Passed with near-unanimous support: House 92-0, Senate 45-1
