Amends Section 11-19.1-06 of the North Dakota Century Code to expand which coroners can be called when a county lacks a resident or available coroner

Changes the requirement from calling "the nearest" coroner from "an adjacent" county to calling "a" coroner from "another" county, providing greater flexibility in selecting available coroners

Sheriff, state highway patrol, or Bureau of Criminal Investigation special agents continue to perform coroner duties temporarily until a coroner or deputy coroner can be contacted

State forensic examiner or designee may investigate and certify cause of death when distance or adverse conditions prevent a coroner from responding
