Schools must develop safety plans when a student adjudicated or convicted of a sexual offense against another student remains enrolled in the same school

Safety plan options include no-contact orders, expulsion hearings, transfer to alternative or virtual education programs, transfer to another school, or physical separation at all times during school activities

Duration of separation must consider victim input, offender's age, offense severity, compliance with intervention programs, and input from guardians and professionals

Victims or their guardians may request review of the safety plan, including modification or removal of restrictions

Juvenile courts or state's attorneys must notify school superintendents of adjudication/conviction and provide disposition orders; victim's name disclosed only with consent
