State agencies and political subdivisions prohibited from contracting with companies that boycott fossil fuels, timber, minerals, hydroelectric power, nuclear energy, mining, production agriculture, or firearms industries

"Boycott" defined as refusing to deal with or penalizing companies in protected industries without ordinary business purpose, including companies that don't voluntarily exceed federal and state environmental standards

Applies to for-profit companies with 10+ full-time employees and value of $100,000 or more; contracts must include written verification the company does not engage in boycotts

Exception allowed if goods or services are unavailable on commercially reasonable terms or if the requirement conflicts with the governmental entity's constitutional or statutory duties

Applies to contracts entered after the effective date; existing contracts violating the Act may not be renewed without obtaining required written verification
