Adds meal reimbursement for legislators during organizational, special, or regular legislative sessions at rates provided under section 44-08-04

Maintains existing daily compensation of $213 per calendar day for session days and committee meetings, plus $592 monthly compensation for public duties during the biennium

Leadership positions (majority/minority leaders of both chambers and legislative management chairman) continue receiving additional $424 per month compensation

Lodging reimbursement continues with maximum monthly amount set by Office of Management and Budget director at 30 times 70% of the daily lodging rate, recalculated every even-numbered year on August 1

Applies retroactively to January 1, 2025
