Expands orders prohibiting contact to apply not only at arrest/charge but also at sentencing and when deferring imposition of sentence for crimes of violence, stalking, harassment, or sex offenses

Allows parties or victims to file written requests to modify or terminate contact prohibition orders, with courts authorized to hold hearings on such requests

Adds "order prohibiting contact" as a standalone sentencing alternative that courts may impose upon conviction, alongside existing options like probation, imprisonment, fines, and treatment programs

Clarifies that contact prohibition orders issued upon charge or arrest terminate upon dismissal, acquittal, sentence, or deferred imposition, at which point courts may issue new orders
