Legislative management shall study state laws on criminal conduct against children, child sexual abuse, child physical abuse, child neglect, and human trafficking of children during the 2025-26 interim

Review must examine replacing the term "sexual performance" with "child sexually abusive material" or similar language in chapter 12.1-27.2 to describe child pornography

Study must address state laws on artificial intelligence use in crimes involving sexual performance of minors or possession of prohibited materials

Review must cover laws protecting children and facilitating investigation and prosecution of crimes involving child victims of abuse, neglect, and trafficking

Findings, recommendations, and any implementing legislation must be reported to the 70th Legislative Assembly; passed House 85-3 and Senate 46-0
