Requires North Dakota higher education institutions offering tenure to develop and adopt tenure policies by July 1, 2026, subject to State Board of Higher Education approval

Mandates annual evaluations of all nontenure, tenure-track, and tenured faculty by the institution president or designee

Establishes post-tenure review requirements with the first evaluation within three years and subsequent reviews at least every five years

Specifies post-tenure evaluation committees must include the faculty member's supervisor, at least one ranking administrator, and tenured faculty comprising one-third to one-half of the committee

Allows removal from position as an outcome of unsatisfactory post-tenure review, with decisions made jointly by the institution and State Board of Higher Education
