Requires North Dakota Medicaid and Medicaid expansion to cover comprehensive obesity treatment including intensive behavioral therapy, bariatric surgery, and FDA-approved antiobesity medications

Prohibits coverage criteria for antiobesity medications from being more restrictive than FDA-approved indications

Mandates equal treatment of obesity coverage with other medical conditions for deductibles, lifetime limits, benefit year maximums, copayments, and coinsurance

Allows utilization management for medical necessity determinations, but requires these reviews follow the same standards applied to other covered conditions

Requires the department to provide written notice to enrollees about obesity treatment coverage no later than December 31, 2025
