Pregnancy resource centers receiving state funds must employ or contract at least one qualified health care provider (licensed physician, physician assistant, or advanced practice registered nurse) who is physically present when health care services are provided.

Centers must provide medically accurate and comprehensive counseling covering all pregnancy options including abortion, adoption, and parenting, and must have licensed counselors available to clients.

Ultrasounds must be performed by licensed health care providers or licensed sonographers and explained to clients by licensed providers acting within their scope of practice.

Centers must comply with federal HIPAA requirements for client health information and maintain publicly available organizational charts and privacy policies describing services, procedures, and data storage practices.

Centers must submit detailed financial and operational reports to the state department before and after receiving grant funding, including revenue and expense budgets, staffing information, client service counts, and an independent financial audit.
