Class B misdemeanor probation supervision must be handled exclusively by community corrections programs, prohibiting the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation from supervising these cases.

Courts may only order community corrections program supervision for class B misdemeanors when supervision is deemed necessary.

The definition of "offender" under Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation jurisdiction is amended to explicitly exclude persons convicted of class B misdemeanors.

Amends North Dakota Century Code sections 12.1-32-07 and 54-23.3-01.1.
