Legislative management must study during the 2025-26 interim whether to create a program allowing farmers and ranchers to complete a safety course in exchange for insurance premium discounts on their operations

Study must include development of a proposed safety course curriculum, determine feasible discount amounts, and establish eligibility requirements for participants

Required stakeholder input includes the insurance commissioner, agriculture commissioner, NDSU Extension Service, and farm, livestock, and agricultural insurance agencies operating in the state

Findings and recommendations, along with any required implementing legislation, must be reported to the 70th Legislative Assembly
