Requires long-term care insurance policies in North Dakota to define key terms including "activities of daily living" (bathing, continence, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring) and "cognitive impairment" if those terms are used in the policy

Prohibits insurers from delaying or denying payment of benefits to basic care facilities when the insured meets policy eligibility criteria, cannot perform two or more activities of daily living without assistance, or has cognitive impairment requiring continual supervision

Mandates insurers provide a copy of the long-term care policy to the insured or their representative within 30 days of a request
