Youth hunters ages 11-13 may receive either a statewide white-tailed antlerless deer permit or an antlerless deer permit as determined by the governor by proclamation, expanding options from the previous single permit type

Youth hunters ages 12-13 may apply for antelope permits during antelope hunting season

General big game hunting license eligibility begins at age 14, with an exception for bow and arrow hunting which has no age restriction

Youth hunters under this program must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult, with "accompanied" defined as maintaining continuous visual contact and unaided verbal communication
