Employee performance and discipline records become exempt from public records requests for three years or until the employee's termination, whichever comes first

Exemption does not apply if records are part of an internal investigation or requested by a law enforcement agency during a hiring process

Extends the exemption period for internal misconduct investigation records from 75 calendar days to 180 calendar days from the date of complaint

Amends Section 44-04-18.1 of the North Dakota Century Code regarding public employee personnel record confidentiality
