SB 2355 - Intelligent Design in Science Standards

• Superintendent of public instruction must include intelligent design in state science content standards for elementary, middle, and high school students by August 1, 2027
• Instructional materials must be provided to teachers presenting intelligent design as "a viable scientific theory for the creation of all life forms"
• In-service training required for teachers to incorporate intelligent design into science curriculum
• Amends Chapter 15.1-21 of the North Dakota Century Code regarding education standards
