Wholesale drug distributors participating in the Prescription Drug Donation Program Act are exempt from maintaining paper or electronic pedigree documentation required under section 71-7456

The Nebraska Department of Health may receive prescription drugs and supplies directly under the Prescription Drug Donation Program Act and dispense them through licensed personnel during or in preparation for a Governor-declared state of emergency

The department may distribute prescription drugs and supplies to any individual impacted by a Governor-declared state of emergency

Approved by the Governor on March 11, 2025, with an emergency clause making it effective immediately upon passage
