State agencies and political subdivisions must purchase U.S. and Nebraska flags that are 100% manufactured in the United States from materials grown or produced entirely in the U.S., effective January 1, 2027

Political subdivisions covered include cities, villages, counties, school districts, public power districts, natural resources districts, and interlocal cooperation entities

State agencies covered include all departments, commissions, boards, offices, councils, and authorities in any branch of state government

Exemption applies to hand-held flags and flags smaller than 8 inches wide by 6 inches high

Amends existing statutes governing State Capitol administrator flag purchases (Section 72-2205) and school governing body flag acquisitions (Section 79-708) to require compliance
