Amends section 48-3808 of the Nebraska Healthy Families and Workplaces Act to add a private right of action allowing employees to sue employers in court for legal and equitable relief for violations of the Act

Employees who prevail in court may recover the full judgment amount plus all costs of suit, including reasonable attorney's fees

Citations issued by the Commissioner of Labor against an employer may be admitted into evidence in employee lawsuits, unless the citation is being contested or specifically excluded by the court

Civil actions under this section must be filed within one calendar year after the cause of action accrues

Retains existing enforcement framework including administrative penalties up to $500 for first violations and $5,000 for subsequent violations, plus the bar on state contracting for employers with unpaid citations
