Requires public bodies (except second class cities, villages, and rural/suburban fire districts) to publish meeting notice at least twice yearly in a legal newspaper of general circulation, including regular meeting schedule, location, and notification method

Exempts governing bodies of second class cities, villages, their advisory committees, and rural/suburban fire protection districts from the twice-yearly newspaper publication requirement

Establishes that failure to comply with the newspaper publication requirement does not void or make voidable any motions, resolutions, rules, regulations, ordinances, or formal actions taken at public body meetings

Removes previous alternative notice methods that allowed posting to newspaper websites or statewide notice repositories, simplifying notice requirements to focus on legal newspaper publication

Amends Section 84-1411 of the Revised Statutes Supplement, 2025, with sponsors Lonowski (District 33), Andersen (District 49), and Sanders (District 45)
