Beginning January 1, 2027, motor carriers must obtain a license from the Public Service Commission to provide intrastate Medicaid nonemergency medical transportation services, with annual license fees not exceeding $250

Rates charged by motor carriers and regulated motor carriers for services under agreements with state agencies are exempt from Public Service Commission rate regulation

The Commission may suspend or revoke licenses for non-compliance with regulations after providing 15 days written notice and holding a hearing

Transportation network companies and participating drivers must hold a license under section 75-311 to engage in intrastate Medicaid nonemergency medical transportation services

Carriers seeking these licenses must demonstrate they are fit, willing, and able to perform services and can conform to sections 75-301 to 75-322 and applicable Commission rules and regulations
