Requires each local school system to allocate at least 50% of total general fund expenditures to teacher salaries and benefits beginning in school fiscal year 2026-27

Amends Section 79-1001 of the Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska to incorporate this new budget requirement into the Tax Equity and Educational Opportunities Support Act

Applies to all local school systems in Nebraska on an ongoing annual basis
