Children of military families with individualized family service plans, individualized education programs (IEPs) under IDEA, Section 504 accommodations, or special education services must receive the same preliminary and advanced enrollment privileges as other military children when a parent presents military orders for stationing in Nebraska.

School boards must ensure that any preliminary or advanced enrollment policies available to general student populations also apply equally to students with IFSPs, IEPs under IDEA (20 U.S.C. 1400 et seq.), Section 504 accommodations (29 U.S.C. 794), or special education as defined in section 79-1125.

Amends section 79-215 of the Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska regarding student residency and school district enrollment requirements.
