Department of Health and Human Services must submit a state plan amendment to the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services by October 1, 2025 to extend postpartum coverage under the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for at least six months for mothers whose children are covered under the unborn child option

Covered postpartum services must be identical to the comprehensive postpartum services provided to pregnant women under Medicaid, with the option to extend coverage to twelve months

Funding for the CHIP postpartum coverage expansion would come from the Medicaid Managed Care Excess Profit Fund

Amends sections 68-911 and 68-996 of the Revised Statutes to add CHIP postpartum coverage to the list of authorized uses for the Medicaid Managed Care Excess Profit Fund
