Nebraska State Insurance Program must include coverage for in vitro fertilization (IVF) beginning July 1, 2025

Coverage may be limited to a lifetime maximum of four completed egg retrievals

IVF coverage may be restricted to individuals who have been unable to conceive through less expensive infertility treatments covered under the program, unless a physician determines such treatments are likely to be unsuccessful

Covered IVF procedures must be performed at facilities conforming to standards set by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine or the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

Declared an emergency measure, taking effect immediately upon passage and approval
