Nebraska's minimum wage increases annually from $9/hour (2022) to $15/hour (January 1, 2026), with automatic 1.75% annual increases beginning January 1, 2027

New youth minimum wage of $13.50/hour established for employees ages 14-15 who are not emancipated minors, with 1.5% increases every five years starting January 1, 2030

Training wage for new employees ages 16-19 set at $13.50/hour through December 31, 2026, then increases 1.5% annually; applies for first 90 days of employment (extendable another 90 days for approved on-the-job training)

Tipped workers must receive at least $2.13/hour in wages, with tips bringing total compensation to at least the applicable minimum wage

Employers prohibited from reducing other employees' hours or laying off workers to replace them with new employees receiving the training wage
