Eliminates the Board of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses as a separate entity and consolidates its functions under the Board of Nursing, effective January 1, 2026

Increases advanced practice registered nurse representation on the Board of Nursing from one member to four members, with preferred representation from certified registered nurse anesthetists, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, and certified nurse midwives

Increases public members on the Board of Nursing from two to three members

Transfers oversight duties for advanced practice nurses to the Board of Nursing, including monitoring scope of practice, recommending disciplinary actions, and establishing standards for certified nurse midwives, certified registered nurse anesthetists, clinical nurse specialists, and nurse practitioners

Establishes staggered initial terms for new advanced practice registered nurse board members (three-year, four-year, and five-year terms), with all subsequent appointments being five-year terms
