Appropriates $500,000 from the Middle Income Workforce Housing Investment Fund to the Department of Economic Development for a grant to study prefabricated housing in Nebraska

Defines prefabricated housing to include manufactured homes and any housing constructed using sections or components manufactured offsite in a factory setting

Requires grant applicants to demonstrate expertise in housing policy, zoning, or prefabricated housing technology, and commit to delivering a comprehensive report by April 1, 2026

Study must examine zoning regulations, state and local manufacturing regulations, infrastructure and utility availability, capital access, current housing availability, target population groups, and incentives for prefabricated housing

Amends section 81-1239 to allow the Middle Income Workforce Housing Investment Fund to receive revenue transferred at the direction of the Legislature rather than only from appropriations
