Adds pharmacists to the list of protected professionals under Nebraska's assault statutes, making it a felony to assault a pharmacist while on duty at a pharmacy, hospital, or health clinic

Creates a unified "public safety officer" definition that includes peace officers, probation officers, firefighters, emergency care providers, Department of Correctional Services employees, and certain Department of Health and Human Services employees

Maintains existing penalty classifications: first degree assault (Class ID felony), second degree assault with dangerous instrument (Class II felony), and third degree assault (Class IIIA felony)

Requires pharmacies to display warning signs (minimum 20x14 inches) stating that assaulting a pharmacist is a serious crime potentially punishable as a felony

Repeals section 28-931.01 (assault using a motor vehicle on protected professionals) and consolidates assault provisions into a streamlined statutory framework
