Homeowner associations cannot prohibit property owners from displaying political signs for candidates or ballot measures beginning 90 days before an election and ending 10 days after the election

HOAs may still require signs to be ground-mounted and limit owners to one sign per candidate or ballot measure

Signs must be no larger than 4 feet by 6 feet and cannot contain balloons, lights, music, streamers, or materials that would distract motorists

Signs cannot be attached to plants, traffic signs, light poles, trailers, or vehicles, and cannot include painted architectural surfaces or offensive content

HOAs retain authority to remove signs that violate any permitted restrictions under this law
