Lost or obliterated government corners must be located according to sections 23-1907 and 23-1908 rather than the previous federal manual of instruction for government surveys

Public hearings remain required before road vacation or abandonment, with notice published for three consecutive weeks and mailed to affected landowners and city officials at least two weeks in advance

Vacation or abandonment still requires a two-thirds vote of all county board members and prior approval from metropolitan, primary, or first-class cities when roads fall within their zoning jurisdiction
