School boards must admit students enrolled in private, denominational, parochial, or non-accredited schools for part-time enrollment to participate in extracurricular activities at the closest public school district offering the desired activity, when their resident district does not offer it

Students participating in extracurricular activities under these provisions must enroll in at least five credit hours in the school district but are not prohibited from enrolling in more than five hours

School boards cannot give preference to full-time students over part-time students when selecting participants for extracurricular activities

Part-time students are entitled to transportation to and from practices and events on the same basis as public school students but are not entitled to general transportation or transportation reimbursements

Amends Nebraska Revised Statutes sections 79-215 and 79-2,136 to expand extracurricular activity access for students attending non-public schools
