Appropriates $1,195,691.75 from the General Fund for state settlements, including $348,654.28 to Nebraska Press Advertising Service, $280,932.50 for Ross Bartlett's line of duty death, $250,000 for Christopher Marcello's line of duty death, $134,046 to Follett Corporation, and $182,058.97 to Johnson County

Appropriates $827,500 from the General Fund for indemnification claims settled by the State Claims Board or Attorney General, including $395,000 for the Estate of Kevin C. Carter and settlements ranging from $85,000 to $185,000 for four other claimants

Appropriates $1,260,000 from the Workers' Compensation Claims Revolving Fund for nine workers' compensation claims ranging from $25,000 to $275,000

Appropriates $1,446,454.12 from the State Insurance Fund for tort claims, including a $950,000 settlement and a $375,000 settlement, plus five smaller claims
