Creates new offense categories for assault on "public safety officers," "health care workers," and "frontline behavioral health providers" while performing their duties, consolidating and replacing existing assault statutes covering officers, emergency responders, and health care professionals

Expands protected health care workers to include any person employed by a health care facility, not just licensed practitioners, and adds coverage for frontline behavioral health providers (direct support professionals) working at behavioral health facilities

Maintains existing penalty structure: first degree assault (serious bodily injury) is a Class ID felony, second degree (bodily injury with dangerous instrument) is a Class II felony, third degree (bodily injury) is a Class IIIA felony

Requires behavioral health facilities to post warning signs about felony penalties for assaulting frontline behavioral health providers, similar to existing signage requirements for hospitals and health care facilities

Repeals section 28-931.01 (assault using a motor vehicle on officers/health care professionals) and consolidates related statutory definitions under a single new section
