Medical facilities and mortuaries must comply with peace officer requests for blood draws from deceased drivers or pedestrians involved in fatal motor vehicle accidents

Applies to drivers who die within four hours of a motor vehicle accident and pedestrians age 16 or older who die within four hours of being struck by a vehicle

Coroners must examine the body and conduct tests to determine alcohol or drug levels in deceased drivers and pedestrians meeting these criteria

Test results, including the deceased's identity and substance levels, are public information reported to the Department of Transportation and tabulated monthly

Amends existing Nebraska statute 60-6,102 to add the new compliance requirement for medical facilities and mortuaries
