Establishes a cap of up to $500,000 in innovative tourism grants that can be awarded to any single city or village each fiscal year

Innovative tourism grants support communities and organizations providing tourism promotion services, hosting events, or promoting attractions that increase nonlocal instate visitors or both instate and out-of-state visitors

Grants may cover marketing assistance, planning assistance, basic support, and regional cooperation, but cannot be used for equipment or capital facility development

Grant recipients must submit a final report within 90 days after event completion, detailing attendance, fund usage, and marketing impact

A technical review committee of at least three members representing public, private, and citizen interests reviews and scores applications before forwarding recommendations to the commission
