Adds "military or veteran status" as a protected class under Nebraska's anti-discrimination laws covering employment, public accommodations, housing, lending, jury selection, and election worker appointments

Defines "military or veteran status" as active duty servicemembers (including reserves and National Guard), veterans discharged honorably or under honorable conditions, and their dependents as defined under federal law

Explicitly preserves existing veterans' preference programs in public employment and clarifies the new protections do not duplicate federal USERRA protections or require preferential treatment for servicemembers absent from work

Permits businesses and organizations to provide special benefits to veterans and servicemembers on an otherwise nondiscriminatory basis, such as housing limited to veterans or discounts for military families

Amends approximately 50 existing Nebraska statutes across multiple areas including fair employment practices, fair housing, county civil service rules, real estate licensing, transportation network companies, and homeless shelter assistance programs
