Department of Health and Human Services must initiate review of a noncustodial parent's child support order within 15 business days of learning the parent will be incarcerated for more than 180 calendar days

Review must be completed and parties notified within 120 calendar days after the department learned of the incarceration

Notices to incarcerated parents must be sent to both the facility address and the facility administrator

If the department finds a decrease in child support is not warranted, the incarcerated parent is entitled to a conference (in person or virtual) within 30 days to review the findings

Incarcerated parents may waive the conference by filing a request at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled date, after which the department will issue a final determination
