Nebraska adopts the Athletic Trainer Compact, enabling licensed athletic trainers to practice across member states through a "Compact Privilege" without obtaining separate licenses in each state

Creates the Athletic Trainer Compact Commission, a joint interstate agency that will administer the compact, maintain a data system of licensee information, and promulgate rules governing interstate practice

Requires athletic trainers seeking compact privileges to complete a criminal background check, hold current BOC (Board of Certification) certification or equivalent credentials, maintain an unencumbered license, and comply with the scope of practice laws in the state where the patient is located

Active military members and their spouses are exempt from paying compact privilege fees to the Commission

Becomes operative on January 1, 2027, and amends existing Nebraska statutes to recognize licenses issued under both the Athletic Training Practice Act and the Athletic Trainer Compact
