Requires individual and group health insurance policies and self-funded employee benefit plans in Nebraska to cover treatment for Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infection (PANDAS) and Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS)

Mandated covered treatments include antibiotics, medication and behavioral therapies for neuropsychiatric symptoms, plasma exchange, and immunoglobulin when recommended by a licensed health care provider

Insurers must report annually to the Department of Insurance by October 1 (starting 2027) the number of coverage denials for these conditions and the specific treatments denied

Department of Insurance must compile and publish denial reports on its website by December 1, 2028, and annually thereafter, identifying each insurer and their denial counts by treatment type

Declared an emergency measure, taking effect immediately upon passage and approval
