Allows defendants in lawsuits involving commercial motor vehicles (requiring a CDL) to have direct negligence claims dismissed by stipulating that the allegedly negligent driver was their employee or independent contractor acting within the scope of employment

Requires courts to dismiss direct negligence claims against the defendant company when these stipulations are made, limiting liability theories available to plaintiffs

Limits defendant's liability solely to the doctrine of respondeat superior (employer liability for employee actions) when the stipulations are made and the employee/contractor is found negligent

Applies to commercial motor vehicles as defined in Nebraska statute section 60-316
